Gillian is an experienced executive coach & mentor, group facilitator and consultant for senior leaders and their teams.

Her work with clients draws on her own 25+ years global leadership experience – as CEO and Board director – combined with extensive training and experience in coaching, counselling and team dynamics.

An inveterate traveller, with a deep interest in people and culture, Gillian has worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Mexico, managed investment portfolios over US$1bn, and business interests in the US, Singapore, Europe and Asia-Pacific. She has worked in multinationals, ASX listed, SME’s and NFPs, and led major organisational transformations.

Her executive roles include CEO & Managing Director, Unisearch; CEO & Managing Director, Standard Chartered Equitor Trustee (Hong Kong); General Manager, Corporate Development, Zurich Australia; Corporate Finance Manager, Coca-Cola Amatil; and Senior Manager, Arbitrage, Lloyds Banks NZA.

In working with teams, Gillian is keenly attuned to the concerns of individuals, mindful their needs can be overlooked through focus on collective objectives. Having experienced similar challenges in her own career – navigating diverse cultural, social and professional contexts – she brings deep insight and compassion to help unlock the untapped resources that will strengthen organisational resourcefulness and drive performance.

Gillian has provided coaching & mentoring services to CEOs, C-suite executives, non-executive directors, and senior legal and functional heads at Top 20 ASX listed companies, multinationals, leading legal & professional services providers, mutuals, NFPS, SOEs, government departments and universities.

In the community, Gillian has a deep interest in human services and the environment, and has coached a number of leaders in social services, health & medicine. She is a non-executive director of Planet Ark.

Based in Sydney, Gillian works with clients across Australia, and overseas. She is bilingual in English/Spanish.

Gillian has Graduate Diplomas in Counselling & Psychotherapy, and in Ontological Coaching. She is a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
Gillian holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Sydney University, and a Master of Laws from Harvard University.

She has an Advanced Diploma, and is a Fellow, of the Australian Institute of Company Directors

Gillian is a Member of the International Coach Federation, and a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia.
