About

Loretta Brown

Loretta provide highly confidential, strategic leadership coaching to Directors, CEOs, and post-executive career leaders in large-scale change and decision-making roles with national influence.

She partners with leaders who feel called by values that put people and the planet at the heart of action and decision-making; and who are working to restore organisations and institutions to health. She has first-hand experience with the pressures faced by leaders who want to make a real difference and profoundly understand the challenges of senior roles in today’s changing contexts.

Loretta helps leaders hold themselves steady whilst they work amid complex, messy roles, and connects leaders to a growing worldwide movement that is fundamentally changing the institutions that shape our lives.

She supports leaders to build confidence as they navigate outdated modes of thinking and break new ground. Based in Aotearoa / New Zealand, Loretta is actively engaged in understanding more about our nation’s colonial history and navigating what it means to be Pakeha in a country that has the opportunity tolive up to the commitment of TeTiriti.

Loretta has been developing leaders in one-to-one coaching engagements and within executive leadership programmes for more than 25 years. As Corporate Programme Director at the New Zealand Leadership Institute, University of Auckland Business School, she has led long‐term leadership development programmes for senior executives in all sectors.

Loretta’s home is on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, where she has lived for three decades. She works with a select group of leaders via zoom and in her central city offices.
