Who are we and what do we do?
At the heart of change is human connection and meaningful conversation.
We exist to help people and organisations transform themselves using this principle, for greater wellbeing and performance.

“In any situation, unseen, unspoken connections among people influence everything that happens.”

Our Story
PeopleTalking has over 25 years of expertise in working with teams and organisations and has led the way in systemic and dialogic coaching. We continue to innovate to best meet the changing needs of organisations, team skills, and experiences. Our work has been facilitated by proven PeopleTalking programs and tailored interventions, customised to meet every client’s specific needs based on two unique approaches: Psychological Safety and Structural Dynamics.
We work with diverse Australian and international companies, large and small, at every stage of their evolution.
Diversity is a key theme in our work at PeopleTalking, and we see it as a strength within our own organisation. Our ‘tribe’ is a dynamic group of individuals emanating from many different cultures, industries, areas of expertise, and roles. What we have in common is a strong desire to serve others, no matter how complex the challenge. We practice what we teach and strive to continuously improve our relationships with each other, at work and at home.
Our values guide everything we do
Care
Act in service of others as well as exercising self-care.
Courage
Building the skills to speak up, be vulnerable and create a space for others to do the same.
Collaboration
See the value in sharing knowledge and resources through conversation, in service of common aims.
Curiosity
Igniting a passion for learning and self-improvement. Practicing a spirit of inquiry and self-reflection.
A life well lived
Building a Model for Living
At the centre of all that we do is the concept of building a ‘Model for Living.’
To live a life well-lived, we must regularly reflect on both our personal and professional models. As practitioners, this is work we do ourselves. It is not always easy, but this is our means for staying true to what we each believe about life, leadership and love. We explore this individually and together. With this greater understanding of ourselves and each other, we can create a workplace that helps each of us be true to ourselves and to live a life of fullness and meaning.
As Dr. David Kantor wrote in his book “Reading the Room’, designing ‘a life worth living’ is a deeply personal journey.
What is key to this journey of self-discovery?

Working on your Model for Living.
It happens over time and is best done with the support of a coach. (And YES, we practice what we teach!)
Dr David Kantor encourages the practice of ‘timefulness’; keeping a journal to maintain ‘consciousness’ daily of what is happening.
Your story is a work in progress, and the story of the life you want to live, your personal manifesto.
How do you ‘be’ in what you do?
We all have an ‘expressed model’…which is ‘who I want to be’, and ‘who I think I am.’ Then there is our ‘displayed model’ which is ‘who I am showing up as’.
Sometimes this is vastly different and may be so for a range of factors.
We can become more conscious of how we are showing up, in our relationships by asking ourselves…
- What is my expressed model and my displayed model?
- Am I happy with that? What is working and what is not?
- How do I show up when it is easy? When I am most challenged, and most needed to be at my best?
All our programs build in this way of thinking and reflecting, to help you create a life well lived.
