The Kantor Institute – Structural Dynamics

Founded in 2014 by the late Dr. David Kantor (1928 – 2021), the Kantor Institute is dedicated to building expertise in his methodologies of model building and structural intervention to improve the performance of individuals, teams and organisations.

In his later years, David stayed true to his nature, vigorously working on unfinished material. During working sessions together in Boston, David asked Kieran White from PeopleTalking to take forward the ongoing stewardship of his work on Structural Dynamics.

We’re privileged to continue David’s important legacy, in collaboration with Kantor Instruments and Mark Fuller (Founder and CEO, Monitor Consulting).

How it works

Our work brings together Psychological Safety and Structural Dynamics to shape how people show up, relate, and perform at work.

Psychological safety describes the conditions where people feel able to speak up, learn, and take interpersonal risks. Structural Dynamics offers tools to help create those conditions – by understanding and working with the patterns of interaction that influence how individuals, teams and organisations function over time. Together, they provide a practical way to navigate through what’s happening beneath the surface, and make conversations work to deliver meaningful, lasting change.
