Bronwen Downie

Bronwen’s interest is guiding teams through explorations of their dynamics, often through the lense of psychological safety. Surfacing insights on how teams can improve their ways of working to meet high performance outcomes, as well as raising behavioural insights that support individual shifts for greater wellbeing at work is a core element of what Bronwen delivers. The result is to equip leaders and teams with the communication skills they need to pursue high performance outcomes while feeling engaged, valued and motivated.​

Bronwen has stood on various NFP boards and is currently the Chair of Sport Integrity Australia’s Athlete Advisory Group. She is the lead instructor for the Fearless Certified Practitioner program in APAC, and a proud advocate for the value of creating high levels of psychological safety in pursuit of any high-performance outcome.

Qualifications

Bronwen has a Coaching Psychology Master’s Degree, Bachelor of Education, Human Movement & Health.

Bronwen represented Australia in Rowing at the 2012 London Olympics in the Women’s Lightweight Double and held the title of World Rowing Champion in 2007 and 2008 in the Women’s Lightweight Quad scull.  She was also a World Rowing Championship bronze medalist in 2003.  ​
